Donald Trump Waived Oil Sanctions On Iran- Good Signs of Progress For Final Peace Deal.

The grant of a 60-day general license by US authorizing the production, delivery and sale of Iranian oil, albeit temporary, gives good signs of progress in peace talks that have been hampered by the lack of trust on both sides. Iran has also started allowing tankers to pass through safely through the Straits of Hormuz. Consequently, oil prices have also dropped to US$80 level from the US$100 per barrel level during the US-Iran war. It may take a few years for oil to drop back to the US$60 per barrel level as supplies from destroyed oil infrastructures during the war and also lesser tankers seems to be transiting the Straits of Hormuz relative to pre-war levels.

Both Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu Worse Off After the War
Donald has actually achieved nothing much after launching the war against Iran. He should never have torn apart the nuclear pact reached by Obama with Iran and then launched a war against the Iranians. As a matter of fact, he is now giving even more concessions to the Iranians and not to mention the hundreds of billions in cash burnt by the US Military for this meaningless war that killed and injured lots of innocent civilians.

For Israel side, Benjamin Netanyahu's fixation on using violence to destroy all the enemies of Israel will just lead to more bad karma for himself and his country. I thought that Netanyahu already make a good statement to enemies who attacked Israel previously and taught them a harsh lesson. But indefinite pro-longed aggression will never be a good permanent solution. For example, many innocent civilians would have turned into future terrorist due to the suffering inflicted by Netanyahu and his stubborn refusal to stop all aggression and engage in sincere diplomatic dialogue.

As a matter of fact, Netanyahu is now panicking that future de-escalation and conflict resolution mechanism that are being negotiated currently, have left out Israel and they are not a party to it.

Parting Thoughts
For the sake of the global economies and the massive layoff mayhem already unleashed by AI, it will be good for everyone to have stability to be restored in the Middle East and one less unfavourable variable.
